No big plans at our house – just handing out candy and trying to keep the cat locked up so he doesn’t sneak out with unsuspecting trick or treaters.

Watch a ton of scary movies with the family. My boys tell me they are “too old” to trick or treat this year 🙄Lol.

So here’s the thing I didn’t expect – once the girls went off to college, we just checked out of Halloween all together. I was always into Halloween, even before we had children, so this came as a total surprise to me. I feel kind of bah humbug-ish every Halloween now.
