Hi everyone, hope you’ve had a good week?
We are back from the beach and it was an experience put it that way! Me and my son are both gluten free as we have celiac disease. The place we went to just had no clue about gluten so I ended up being glutened on our first day and was in loads of pain…..so after that we made our own food (and had to wash it all up) so that bit didn’t feel like a holiday to me!
Apart from food, we had a great time swimming in the sea and at the pool and we explored a really old graveyard too!!!

Oh, no! I’m so sorry. That really sucks. It’s bad enough being glutened when at home but vacation is arguably the last place you want to deal with that. It takes so long to get back to normal too 🤗

I’m lucky in the fact that once I ummm get rid of the food I’m left with a bit if pain and the next day I’m ok but my son gets hit for days after and I’d rather it would be me than him to get glutened!!!!

That’s awful, Caro! These days it seems like restaurants would understand about gluten and employees would be trained. Washing dishes is never fun – especially on vacation.
