A Book A Day – did I do it?

I set my self a little challenge on my week off…..can I read a book a day?

I had the week off work and there was no school work to help my son with as it was school holidays. He was busy with his Zoom social life (!) so I had time that I didn’t know how really to fill once the cooking, washing and cleaning had been done, so I read!

I picked books from my tbr that I was in the mood for and also a sneaky new release. I can’t say all the books were big (well 1 was!) but I still did it!

Saturday

Ask Me If I Care by Lani Lynn Vale

(Read inside with coffee and biscuits to stay out the wind!)

Look out for my review soon!

Sunday

May Contain Wine by Lani Lynn Vale

(Read half inside and half in the garden in the sunny intervals)

Look out for my review soon!

Monday

Moti on the Water by Leylah Attar

(Read in the garden in the sun between rounds of swingball and laughter as it was so amusing!)

Look out for my review soon!

Tuesday

Dream Maker by Kristen Ashley

(A whopping 497 pages read inside as I couldnt move from the sofa when I started!)

See my review here.

Wednesday

King of Libertines by Pam Godwin

Prequel to Sea of Ruins

(only 79 pages but I think I more than made up for that yesterday!)

Thursday

Hooking Him by Aurora Rose Reynolds

(Read as a bit of pre bed reading!)

See my review here.

Friday

Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan

(Read in the shade in my garden on a very hot day!)

See my review here.

I can safely say I enjoyed every minute! Could I do it every week, no I don’t think so!

Have you ever set yourself a challenge like this?

  1. Would you believe I still haven’t read Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief? These all sound interesting. How cool that you recorded where you read the books! The garden would be my favorite! 🧡

  2. Wow! Impressive, Caro. I’ve only managed a book a day for a week when I had a huge number of ARCs to get through due to bad planning on my part. 😉 I learned my lesson well. Lol!
