We had a heatwave, it was absolute hell! Luckily I had a week off work and managed to escape into shops with air-conditioning most days!

It was my birthday yesterday so celebrated with a lemon meringue cake – it was delish!

What I haven’t done this week, is read much. I’ve slowly been working my way through an anticipated sequel so will have an update on that next week!
