This week was mostly work and, as I have a project due to implement next week, I worked extra hours to make sure we were ready so that was nice (not really!)
I had my first dnf of the year this week too, I got 30 odd percent into Heavenly Tyrant and realised that I didn’t know why things were happening and I didn’t have a clue what was going on – it might be a me thing – not sure!

CJRTB Books 
I know Sophie also didn’t care for Heavenly Tyrant. It was one of my most anticipated reads this year and, judging by some other reviews, took a different direction from the first novel.

I was just confused! I don’t know whether it was me or not!!! I’ve put it back on my tbr pile to give to another go at some stage!

Congrats (??) on your first DNF! 🙂 Sometimes, it’s just not the right time, and sometimes, the book just isn’t worth it. Always better to move on, in my opinion. Have a great week!

I’ve had about 4 already. I loved heavenly tyrant but I can see it’s not for everyone !

That kind of thing happened to me with Onyx Storm. It took me forever before I finally got back into the flow of the story.
