I love it when a book completely hooks you in, you fall in love with the story, and when you’ve finished, you feel exhilarated!
So I decided to make a list of them! I’ve read 70 books so far this year, and these are the ones I’ve loved (not necessarily released this year, I read then!)
No one is more surprised than me to see more romance books than fantasy!!!

Two books I love on your list — Brothersong and Seven Year Slip!! (I still need to get to my Green Creek reread…). Hmm, I really don’t know what I’d consider my best books of 2024 so far. The 5-star reads I can think of are all traumatic and disturbing, but I know I read upbeat, happy books too!
