This week my son was off of school for half term but I still had to work (it’s crazy times at the mo coming up to the end of tax year!) and it was Shrove Tuesday aka Pancake Day so we indulged in a couple of pancakes each! Lemon and sugar is the king of toppings!

I found it on BookBeat so am listening to it but they cut their speed down to a max of 2 and I listen at 2.8 so it’s really slow going!!!

This just reminded me that I had asked you if the UK has syrup (but hadn’t seen your response, so I had to slip over to IG to see 😂). Most people do syrup and butter over here but lemon curd and sugar would be so yummy! So one more question 🙋♀️ – are the pancakes small and fluffy or large (plate size) and thin? I was watching a reality show where the chef was from the UK (I think) and he didn’t understand how to make American pancakes. He kept making crepes. I have a lot of questions about such a simple thing, don’t I?

We have maple syrup! I make larger thinner pancakes bur do like American pancakes too!!!!
