So I’ve changed this as I don’t keep a note of books I DNF and also didn’t want to be too negative so I’m doing books I nearly DNF’d but so glad I didn’t because I loved them in the end!

I DNF’d Icebreaker. I’m sure it might have gotten better for me, but I couldn’t get past the beginning of it with the OW/OM stuff.

For me it’s Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle most of all but also happy I persevered. I remember I Am Pilgrim too where the first 50 pages were hard but then I couldn’t put it down.

My latest one I’m glad I didn’t DNF was Emily Wilde’s Encyclopaedia of Faeries. It took me a little while to get into it, but I’m so glad I stuck with it. Have an ARC of the second one waiting for me.

I started and stopped Ninth House a bunch of times, but I’m so glad I finally read it through. It was very good!

Icebreaker was rough at first for sure. I didn’t dnf it, but I was tempted. 😂 So glad you didn’t dnf Red Rising! I’m going to read Morning Star during August. I’m obsessed with the world Pierce Brown created. Golden Son was so goooooood! Happy reading, Caro!
