Evershore (Skyward Flight #3)
Defending Elysium
Author: Brandon Sanderson

Evershore – see the blurb here.
Back with the Skyward Flight and this time from Jorgen’s point of view.
Jorgen has lost a lot in a short time, he’s ready to fall apart but he can’t, answers and solutions are needed and he’s the right guy for the job!
There’s loads of action, was emosh and a total journey for him and the Kitsen (I adore them!!)
I also adore Arturo and Alanik. I need more! They need their own novella!
Need that last book now, countdown begins!

Defending Elysium – see the blurb here.
I felt like I needed to read this to complete my knowledge of this world and the author says himself that he felt it was time to talk about Jason and his story, and how it related to Spensa and her story. And to be honest, I can’t get enough of the world!
Although short, this story gives us insight to the beginnings of Jason Write. Of an interesting fact about Jason but I won’t spill that here and it’s probably not what you think.
I’m not sure but from what I learned in Cytonic to what was here, I can piece a bit more together.
‘The Phone Company had arrived.’
I really need to get back into the skyward series! I love all of the covers, even for the novellas. 😍

They were all so good! I think Defending Elysium really could’ve been a full length novel as the main character was so interesting!

If you were just starting this series (Skyward) – in what order do you think is best to read everything – with the novellas and all included?

Skyward, Starsight, Sunreach, Redawn, Cytonic, Evershore then Defending Elysium. I don’t think it’s necessary to read Defending but I was intrigued! Defiant is the next one due out March 2023!!!!
