Top Ten Tuesday is featured by That Artsy Reader Girl It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
Theme: Books I Would Hand to Someone Who Claims to Not Like Reading
Ive split this in half because my son is one of ‘these’ people but he has to read for homework so the first 5 books are books we’ve chosen together abd have read or we will be reading and the last 5 are for everyone!
City of Ghosts by Victoria Schwab
Amari and the Night Brothers by BB Alston
Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson
Harry Potter
Percy Jackson
House In the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune
Under the Whispering Door by TJ Klune
Once Upon a Broken Heart by Stephanie Garber
Gemina by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman (audio)
The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare
Oooh we have some in common Caro! And I wonder what he’ll think of SoT!

Ooo…Amari! Definitely! I wanted to get it as a gift for Christmas, but I mostly have nephews, and I wasn’t sure how they would feel about a girl main character.

I think a boy would like it too. My son doesn’t like books in general but I’m making him read this!!!!

I would pick The House in the Cerulean Sea over The Whispering Door myself. Just because The Whispering Door took me a lot longer to get into. Both are great picks, though.
