The End of Summer Book Tag

I saw this tag on Howling Libraries and Destiny got it from Storme Reads A Lot Please go and check them both out for fantastic bookish posts!

For info, I am not a summer person so glad we will see some cooler days and nights with Autumn on the way!

1. What was your favourite book this summer?

The Gilded Ones by Namina Forna

I simply loved it! You can see my review here.

2. What was your least favourite book this summer?

I hate questions like this because I really don’t like to upset anyone but I guess you can’t like all the books! I did DNF The Last Namsara by Kristen Ciccarelli so does that count?

3. What book do you wish you read this summer?

Oh so many! The main one probably Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo.

4. What was your favourite classic you read this summer?

I didn’t read any classics. 😒 I really need to remedy that for Autumn!

5. Did you stray into a different genre and pick up a new and exciting book?

I guess MG isn’t a new, new genre but I don’t really read hardly any but picked up Nevermoor: The Trials of Morrigan Crow by Jessica Townsend and really enjoyed it! You can see my review here.

6. What was your favourite movie adaptation this summer?

Well I’ve only seen one and it’s a doozy! DNI 365. I mean it was hot, basically soft porn and I grasped at my pearls quite a lot but can’t say its a favourite or something I would watch again! (No pic or I’ll have to grab at my pearls again!)

7. What was your favourite new book release?

Shielded by Kaylynn Flanders

You can see my review here.

I won’t tag anyone but please feel free to do!
