Top 5 Tuesday: my book-ish habits

Top 5 Tuesday is brought to you by Shanah at the Bionic Bookworm, see her original post here.

Theme = Book-ish Habits

Page Count πŸ“–

I must know the page count. It’s like an obsession! And nothing frustrates me more than an ebook on Amazon that doesn’t have the page count!

Notebook πŸ“

I have to write down all the books I own in a notebook, old skool style! Even though I also add them to my Goodreads shelf! And then I cross them out in the notebook once read!

Book Shelf πŸ“š

My book shelves must be in a specific order. Read and Unread. I cannot have them out of place and woe betide if my son moves one to the wrong place!!!!

Reading place 🏠

I can only seem to read at home and enjoy it. I try and read books waiting for appointments, on the bus etc but I just don’t get the feeling of enjoyment!!!

Bookmarks πŸ”–

Even though I own 3685336853357 bookmarks, I dont use them. I just remember the page number I am on!

What are your book-ish habits?

    1. I’m worried that I will mark or tear one of them and that would physically hurt me πŸ˜‚ I hate it when my son looks at my books, I’m always hovering to make sure he puts it back where he found it!!!

  1. I have to know how many minutes are left in a chapter as I’m reading e-books. Also, I use bookmarks and leave them in the book when I finish it so I know for sure that it’s been read! But I love the idea of using a notebook to make an inventory of sorts and to write down writes like Sophie said!!!😁
