January is nearly done!
Can you believe I had the mother of all slumps…..in January! Curse to all that is slumpy!
But Henry Cavill helped me out!!!
I started watching The Witcher and was immediately hooked (but 2021 for the 2nd series, come on Netflix!!) I also played a lot of Roblox Adopt Me, that game is addicting (but I have quite a few fully grown neon pets to show for it!!!)
Anyway on to books! I found audio was my total saviour! All books ‘read’ in January were audio!

Call Down the Hawk by Maggie Stiefvater- I just cannot get on with this authors writing style. It makes me feel so guilty though.
The Bone Witch by Rin Chupeco – I really wanted to love this but just couldn’t get into it.

Well you still had a pretty good reading month, even with being a little bit slumpy. I admit to being a little sad that you didn’t like The Bone Witch, but it’s okay, because not every book is for every reader. I hope you have a better reading month in February.
I read 23 books in January…or 21 technically because two were DNFs, so it was overall a pretty good month for me.

Wow that’s a great number of books read! I was so gutted about Bone Witch. It was audio so maybe I need to read the actual book to see if I get on with that.

That might be worth a try. I read physical copies of the whole trilogy, so I can say that I enjoyed them, but I don’t read a whole lot of audiobooks, overall.

I wasn’t in a slump per say but I only read five books last month which is low for me. 😬 So sorry you’ve been in a slump hun! I hope February is better for you! Xoxox
