Here we are with another year!
I didn’t want to be so regimented with my reading this year so thought I would sign up for less arcs…..well that hasn’t quite worked out for January as I have 8 arcs! I’m still not sure how it happened!!!
So, January will be an arc read month!

It’s no secret that I love The Throne of Glass series so when I finished Kingdom of Ash, I went straight and bought The Assasins Blade…..

I don’t plan on putting each of the short stories up, well I might….but wanted to share The Assasin and the Healer as this friendship really struck a chord with me.

Yrene and Celaena the one I was waiting for!

I’m not even sure, out of all the short stories, why this was the one I wanted to read the most. It endeared me. A girl helping a girl, girl power, call it what you will…to come back and be victorious in the future.

And it was just what I wanted!

This girl wasn’t like wildfire—she was wildfire. Deadly and uncontrollable.’

Delightful.

You know when you have an author that is hit or miss for you?  Well this author (or authors!) is that for me……but I really loved the sound of the premise for this book and I LOVED IT, ITS ONE OF MY BEST READS FOR 2018!

The blurb really made me smile so I knew I needed this and to simply put it, this is hilarious. Genius. Beautiful.

Hazel is just a scream! She actually made me out of breath reading her!!! In her words,
‘I tend to be too chatty, too silly, too exuberant, too random, too eager.Too Hazel-y.” I was worried she might grate on me but she didn’t, she was just so genuine that I loved her.

And Josh, his dry wit had me smirking. Their friendship, their love, just them! ‘We have nowhere to go but up.’

I picked it up to read a few chapters before bed and I nearly finished in 1 sitting (a girl’s got to sleep!) But I had a smile on my face from start to finish.

You need this book in your life. It is one hell of a pick me up!
