Review: Faebound by Saara El-Arifi

Title: Faebound

Series: Faebound #1

Author: Saara El-Arifi

DIVIDED BY BLOOD.

IMPRISONED BY FATE.

BOUND BY DESIRE.

WELCOME TO THE INTOXICATING WORLD OF THE FAE.

Yeeran is a warrior in the elven army and has known nothing but violence her whole life. Her sister, Lettle, is trying to make a living as a diviner, seeking prophecies of a better future.

When a fatal mistake leads to Yeeran’s exile from the Elven lands, they are both forced into the terrifying wilderness beyond their borders. There they encounter the impossible: the fae court.

The fae haven’t been seen for a millennium. But now Yeeran and Lettle are thrust into their seductive world – torn between their loyalty to each other, their elven homeland, and their hearts. . .

Yeeran finds herself banished from the Elven world and, along with her sister and Captain, Lettle and Rayan, they find themselves captured by the Fae, who they didn’t even think existed any longer. More than a few secrets are revealed with a lot of tragedy……

The things I loved:
Enemies to lovers (Furi!!)
The animal companions, Obeah!
The divination element,
Rayan,
Older characters (30’s),
Rayan,
The fae world of Mosima,
The sapphic element,
Rayan and Lettle,
The magic system of the Fae,
The passionate ‘scenes’

I think you can glean. I was here for Rayan and Lettle, especially Rayan!!!!!

Loved this romantasy and can’t wait to see what happens next!
