Beat the Backlist is back for 2023!!!!

BEAT THE BACKLIST CHALLENGE

Do you have books on your to-read list that already released? Do you struggle to get to those backlist books with all the new releases each year? Do you enjoy relaxed reading challenges you can do at your own pace? Then it’s time to beat your backlist!

Join in with Novelknight’s 2023 challenge!

I’m doing things differently for 2023, well different for me! I’m setting my goal at 20 but with the caveat that these must be on my actual tbr with a date before 31 December 2022 and not bought/borrowed before this date!

I’m a mood reader so picking books is hard as I don’t know if I’ll be in the mood to actually read them! I’ve written down my tbr……170 books!!!! It seems I have plenty to choose from!!!! I don’t want to bore you with the list or we’ll be here all day so it’s up to me to govern myself!!!!

THE RULES ARE SIMPLE:

• The book must be published in the previous year or earlier.

• You have to start and finish the book in 2023.

• And that’s it!

Any format, any genre. Re-reads count, you don’t have to own the book, and you can join at any time.
There is no formal sign-up for Beat the Backlist this year. Whether you want to make a Goodreads shelf, declare your participation on social media, make a blog post, share an instagram story, or say nothing at all, you’re welcome to join in. The only request is if you do post about the challenge somewhere, please link back or tag one of my social accounts so others can find the challenge too! Share your updates with the tag #BeatTheBacklist!

Blogmas: Best Books of 2022!
