Reblogging is something I am thinking of doing in 2024 because I see some posts and I think I’d love to show my support for this post and the person who posted it.
But I am always hesitant about reblogging as I don’t know the proper etiquette, if any exists! I’ve googled but it doesn’t really say much so thought I’d ask here!

Topic: Reasons Why I’m Thankful for Books
I’m in England so don’t celebrate Thanksgiving but love hearing about all your plans for food and celebrations!
Of course I am also thankful for books and here are my reasons why I’m thankful for them!
~ Books are the reason I started blogging and bookstagramming!
~ Books, my blog and bookstagram has meant I’ve found some fab book friends!
~ Books gave me the escapism in a time of my life where I really needed it.
~ Books have made me smile and laugh!
~ Books mean I always have something to do!
~ Books saved me from peopleing on my commute to work (when I worked in the office!!)
~ Books mean I can relax on my bed in my pj’s at any time of the day!!!
~ Books (and special editions) mean I have pretty book shelves!
~ Books have introduced me to bookish art and bookish candles and now I’m obsessed!!!
~ Books mean I get deliveries a lot and now I look forward to my regular postman calling me ‘young lady’ 🤣🤣🤣

Loved it! It was dark and enchanting although a slow starter and a bit confusing in places but the segsual tension is huge! Envy and Camilla are basically just horny the majority of the time and I am here for it!!!!!
The romance was maddening, both of them drove me bloomin crazy but I particularly enjoyed that Camilla basically has Envy on his knees as she was just as sneaky and devious as he was!!! Fabulous!
I loved the banter between the 7 brothers, I need more of these Demon Princes! Sloth is my fave (he’s a reader) but looks like Pride is next!

Another week has gone by and Christmas is well on the way and I couldn’t be happier, my fave time of year!
Just a normal week of work and school for us (my son had his hair cut and that was about as exciting as it got!!!)
It’s coming to the end of the year and it’s time for me to take stock of my tbr and I know I’ll probably need to breathe into a paper bag after counting!!!! Do you do this or go with the flow of your tbr?

Topic: Mainstream Popular Authors that I Still Have Not Read
When I started this I asked myself the question, who exactly is a mainstream popular author? Who gets to decide that?!! How are these defined?
So I did what any confused person does, I googled! I found a list of 100, most of who I have never heard of! But I’ve added some below that I recognise their names but don’t think I’ve ever read!

In this Chinese folklore story we have Lan who has a secret (that she doesn’t know!) and Zen who is a practitioner magician.
Lan escapes a song/pleasure house where she has been sold and takes off with Zen to uncover her secret and to get rid of the Elantian leaders.
I did enjoy the different kinds of magic but it just didn’t hit the spot for me mainly because the description of the world building was quite info dumpy and there was a lot of repetition. Due to this I did lose interest a bit.
But what saved this for me was Lan and Zen’s romance! It was so cute and I lived for it!

I’ve got a free 90 day sub to Bookbeat so for Remember November (a Storygraph challenge) I’m listening to books I already own because I can’t seem to pick up a physical book at the mo!
