We went to the beach yesterday! The weather was brilliant but the sea was freezing! I did have to stay out of the sun though because of my burns but, despite that, we had a great time!

Work was so busy and stressful again this week, honestly it’s never ending at the moment!

What have you read lately?

I organised my own reading challenge for 2024, Tackle That TBR!

It’s not too late to join in! Let me know in the comments how many books you’ll go for! I’m going for 20 books!

In the first quarter of the year I read 8 TBR books and in this second quarter I read……1.

Yes, 1. Pathetic!!! This has given me the kick up the you-know- whats that I needed, so it’s on!!!!

Here’s the solitary book I read…..

I love it when a book completely hooks you in, you fall in love with the story, and when you’ve finished, you feel exhilarated!

So I decided to make a list of them! I’ve read 70 books so far this year, and these are the ones I’ve loved (not necessarily released this year, I read then!)

No one is more surprised than me to see more romance books than fantasy!!!

For 2024 I had to lower my goal as I dont listen at work anymore so set it at:

But……..I’VE MET MY GOAL ALREADY!!!!

Seems I was over cautious!

So now I’m going for Marathoner (Look Ma No Hands) 50+
