🎧 Mini Review: Midnight Sun by Stephanie Meyer

Title: Midnight Sun

Series: Twilight Saga #5

Author: Stephanie Meyer

When Edward Cullen and Bella Swan met in Twilight, an iconic love story was born. But until now, fans have heard only Bella’s side of the story. At last, readers can experience Edward’s version in the long-awaited companion novel, Midnight Sun.

This unforgettable tale as told through Edward’s eyes takes on a new and decidedly dark twist. Meeting Bella is both the most unnerving and intriguing event he has experienced in all his years as a vampire. As we learn more fascinating details about Edward’s past and the complexity of his inner thoughts, we understand why this is the defining struggle of his life. How can he justify following his heart if it means leading Bella into danger?

My first thoughts….oooo Eddie is darker than I thought! And after I thought about this it confirmed that I am unconditionally and irrevocably Team Edward!

Obviously I knew the story but seeing it from his perspective was a little bit eye opening! You don’t really learn anything new so if you are going into this, don’t expect it and also this book is loooooong (nearly 26 hours on audio!) so you’re in it for the long haul!

But…..my inner Twihard loved this and I’d love to get more of his pov! Gimme!

  1. Ooh Midnight Sun! I got this book when it came out and I agree, Edward is so dark! I’m still Team Jacob though, although I do appreciate Edward more now
