Welcome to The Weekly Epilogue!
Hope you all had a good week?
Well hello book slump.
It’s been a month or so but I see you have come back. I thought I told you never to return yet here you are!
Yes I’m in another slump. I did start a book on the weekend and I finished it Monday but then no more words have passed my eyes for the rest of the week. I cry!
Wicked Fox by Kat Cho – see my review here.
OMG I feel like a fraud! NOTHING!!
I still have 2 books left from my Summer Reading Challenge so I need to get a move on!
- The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang
- Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo
How was your reading week?
What books did you read?
Maybe changing genre would help? Or watch movies? Sometimes brain needs to become free till it can concentrate on words… So enjoy doing something else

I tried to reread an old faithful but even that didnt work! I got one of the new Harry Potter books so I’ll try that as it’s literally 60 pages!!

It’s ok to go through a bit of a reading slump. Sometimes taking a short break from reading to do other things, like listening to music or watching TV, can make you excited to get back to your books.

This year has been awful for slumps for me. Thanks for the advice, I might watch a film later π

Oh, bummer. I hate slumps. I usually have to change things up when I get one. I usually pick up a dark romance or a thriller to get me out of it. Although, maybe The Kiss Quotient will get you out of it. That book is phenomenal!

I’m starting it tonight! I’ve heard so many great things and I need a book to kick me in the bum to get me back in the swing of things!
