Review: Finale by Stephanie Garber

Firstly can we just take a minute to appreciate this beauty…….

I was so worried about reading this book and damaging it in the slightest! I even had an internal battle with myself whether to buy the ebook as well! But….I pulled my big girl pants on and read it…..with kid gloves!

I really don’t want to put the synopsis on here as I am sure you all know it…but if you click on the cover below it will take you to Amazon where you can read it!

‘A love worth fighting for. A dream worth dying for. An ending worth waiting for.’

ALL THE STARS, ALL THE STARS!!!
My heart has been totally captured! It bled for Scarlett and Tella.
The magic, the truths, the heartache, the enchanting way it captured everything in me!
The story felt different to its 2 predecessors but I fell hopelessly in love with every word, every paragraph every chapter……it was magical!

And I’m so sad it’s over……

Birthday, books and binges (of the reading variety!)

Welcome to The Weekly Epilogue!

Hope you all had a good week?

School holidays for me and my son this week and it was my birthday!

We had a few days out doing stuff and a few at home….with cake, so that was great!

Reading wise….you know when you have planned out what you want to read and then a slew of arcs arrive? That was me this week…..but they were so good!

The Fallen: Genesis by Tillie Cole

The start of her pnr series, setting the scene if you will….and it was fab!

Forever Immortal by Amelia Hutchins

Love the Fae Chronicles and this is a new series by this author so I needed!

Knights Burden by Bella Jewel

I loved the other books in this series but this was the one I wanted! Was so good!

Finale by Stephanie Garber

I joined in with the Fairyloot readalong but alas I couldn’t keep to the schedule and finished the book in 2 days!!! It was so good but I’m so sad that this series has come to an end.

The Foxhole Court by Nora Sakavic

King Hall by Scarlett Dawn

This is on my Beat the Backlist challenge and also crosses off June for the Ultimate Reading Challenge….a new to me author!

My favourite post from the blogosphere this week was from Kathy at Books and Munches….a reading challenge…..

Jazzy June

A month to dedicate to rereading your fave books…could life get any better?!

How was your reading week?

What books did you read?

Tag: The Secret Life of a Book Blogger!!!!!

I was tagged by the lovely Destiny at Howling Libraries, go and pay her blog a visit (and gasp at the amount of books she hauls!!!)

Here we go with my secret life (actually not secret, just boring!!!!)

How long have you been blogging?

I started blogging in 2012 using a Facebook page and then went on to my WordPress blog 4 years ago. Wow time flies!

At what point do you think you’ll stop blogging?

I have no idea! I guess if my love for reading ever goes away then my blog will too (even typing that made me sad!)

What is the best thing about blogging?

The community. I love reading people’s posts, commenting and blog hopping!

What is the worst thing?

Facebook and the drama! The Facebook book community used to be a fab place to be but now, not so much!

How long does it take you to make/find pictures to use?

Well…..I’m not much of an artist! I try. I really do! But I’m never really happy with them. My mantra is practice makes perfect (and I have a lot of practicing to do!)

Who is your book crush?

I have a lot. Like a lot! Rhysand definitely is up there along with Ruger from the Reapers series by Joanna Wylde, Lahn who was created by Kristen Ashley, Legend by Stephanie Garber…the list goes on. I’m so fickle!

What author would you like to have on your blog?

I can produce a list if you like?!!! So many!

I guess if I could have the pick of anyone it would be Stephanie Garber. I love her writing style and have fallen in love with her Caraval world.

What do you wear when you write your blog posts?

Umm. It depends. If it’s daytime then probably jeans and a tee. If it’s past 6pm the rule in my house is that PJ’s are on!

How long does it take you to prepare?

A post? Hmmm….it depends! I usually write stuff up on my phone in notes (like I’m doing now!) and then I add to WordPress, add pics, look at spelling, fonts, colours and add anything I think the post needs. Swings and roundabouts, I’d probably say 15 minutes?

How do you feel about the blogging community?

WordPress community, I love. I never see any drama, just the love of books and it makes me so happy.

What do you think one should do to create a successful blog?

I guess it depends on how you define successful. For me success is based on if I’m happy with what I am doing and that I dont feel stressed or pressured.

If I’m happy in my bubble, that counts as successful to me!

I’m going to be ‘that’ person and not tag anyone but please feel free to do this, it was fun!
