Here we go again, my longings for books that will be released in 2019….you can read part 1 here.
I’m trying to ignore the sobs of my bank account whilst I type this, but here is the 2nd part!
Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson – I loved An Enchantment of Ravens and need more from this author. Billed as an imaginative fantasy about an apprentice at a magical library who has to battle a powerful sorcerer to save her kingdom.
The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern – a student finds a strange book hidden in the library….with a story from his own childhood….
And not pictured……
The Beautiful by Renee Ahdieh – vampires? 1800’s? Yes please!
Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo – soon as I saw it was about Yale’s secret societies that engage in occult activities I was so in!
Kingdom of Back by Marie Lu – lets be honest, I would read this authors shopping list! This book is based on childhood of Mozart and his sister Nannerl.
Beyond the Shadowed Earth by Joanna Ruth Meyer – I saw the words ‘set in same world as Beneath the Haunting Sea’ and didn’t have to read any further – need!
Winterwood by Shea Ernshaw – I loved The Wicked Deep and when I heard this was about an eerie forest haunted by magic and mystery, I was in!
