Hi everyone! Hope you all had a great week?
It was my Mum’s birthday this week so my diet went out the window with a pizza and a huge bit of cake! School also went back much to my son’s disgust!
Now a bookish update….all the best laid plans and all that……I had a book list to stick to (I love lists!) but it all went to pot when I started reading book 2 of the Rock Chick series by Kristen Ashley. “Just read this one book I told myself”……and then look what happened, these books are like crack!
I was like a machine this week, read 5 books and these count towards my Beat the Backlist challenge!

Well I need to catch up with my list (did I mention I love lists?!) But in for a penny, in for a pound. I’m going to finish off the Rock Chick Series (3 books and a novella), if I can!

I received an arc of All the Little Lights by Jamie McGuire and I also bought Father Figure by James J Cudney as I have heard such great things and he is a fab guy (check out his blog here.)

I’ve read the Rock Chick Series several times…I love it! I’ve got four ARCs this week then I’ll get back to the BDB series (and my beat the backlist)! 😍😍

Looks fab!! It’s so easy to get sucked into a book series too… I picked up Emma Newman’s Split Worlds series a few weeks ago and literally binge read the whole series in a week. Still recovering!!

It so is, I keep saying to myself to read 1 and then come back to the others but your right, you get sucked in and that’s that!!!
