The Brits Weekly Book Biz: 2-8 April

Hi, hope everyone had a great week?

I went back to work on Tuesday after my week off – I’m always torn between dread of having to get up early again but then feel it’s also nice to get back to normality!

And then Wednesday the dreaded stomach bug going round hit my son. It was not pleasant! But between toilets visits with him (!) there was plenty of time to read!

Sleeping with Monsters by Amelia Hutchins (new release)

Love this author more than cake! Amelia is 1 of those authors where anything she writes just grabs you. I’ll be doing a post soon for this series so look out for my review!

Hunting Prince Dracula by Kerri Maniscalco (Beat The Backlist Challenge)

Thomas Cresswell owns my heart. That is all! See my review here.

Quidditch Through the Ages by JK Rowling

This was offered in Prime Reading and who am I to turn down anything Harry?! See my review here.

I have never DNF’d 2 books in 1 week but I have now!

The Beasts Heart by Leife Shallcross (arc) – unforts this was a DNF for me. I hate to DNF but there was just so much and the pacing was very slow and I lost interest.

I also DNF a book but I may come back to it later….Juniper Unraveling by Keri Lake. The stomach bug goings on here was making me feel squeamish and this book was gory. I just couldn’t stomach it!

Well….I wanted to start Flame in the Mist by Renee Ahdieh but I started to read Rock Chick by Kristen Ashley and I get the feeling this series will take over my life!  See how it goes!

Hothead by Stella Rhys

I wasn’t going to get any books this week but then I saw this cover. The end.

Review: To Kill a Kingdom by Alexandra Christo

March Fairyloot Unboxing
