CJR The Brit Review:Midnight Blue by LJ Shen

I am so lucky as I am on this authors review team so I got an early arc………and it was so good!

Here is a bit about it:

It should have been easy.

I needed the money. He needed a babysitter to keep him from snorting himself to death.

I was cherry-picked especially for him. Responsible. Optimistic. Warm. Innocent.

The worst part is that I should have known better.

Alex Winslow. British rock star. Serial heartbreaker. Casanova with whiskey eyes.

“Don’t get near the devil in a leather jacket. He’ll chew you up and spit you out.”

Sounds familiar? That’s because it was a headline in a tabloid the second time he got arrested.

Guess what? I didn’t listen.

I signed the contract.

World tour. Three months. Four Continents. One hundred shows.

My name is Indigo Bellamy, and I sold my soul to a tattooed god.

Problem was, my soul wasn’t enough for Alex Winslow. He ended up taking my body, too.

Then he took my heart.

Then he took my all.

CJR THE BRIT REVIEW

If you love a book with hilarious banter then this book is for you.

This book had so much banter I was suppressing laughs all over the place (I was reading when I shouldnt be #rebel).

At the same time, if you want a book that will break your heart and put it back together several times, then again, this book is for you!

Previously out of control rock star, Alex needs a babysitter to make him toe the line….enter Indie.

What a fabulous woman Indie was. I can safely say she is my favourite leading lady written by this author.

This book can only be described with 1 word. Fabulous.
