Hi everyone, hope your week has been a good one?

I had 3 days off work so I really threw myself into finishing my Christmas shopping. AND I DID IT! And I’ve wrapped half of it as well *insert smug grin*

Then it struck….

I got the call. You know, THE call. 

From school. My son was ill. 😢  He has been so poorly, flu like virus so my plan to read 4 books went out the window! But I did manage to read 2…..

  1. I have found that my reading speed has slowed down lately, or maybe its that I’ve had so much to do that I’m just not reading too much. I am trying to get some ARC’s read that come out on Jan 02. A romance, An Uncommon Honeymoon by Susan Mann and a fantasy novel Dragon Blood by Eileen Wilks. Both were pretty good!

    1. I think the time of year also has a lot to answer for! I always seem to be doing something lately but hopefully I’ll slow down and relax over the festive period!

      I’ve seen so many great books that are releasing on Jan 2nd so I had better try and get my tbr pile in hand!! Happy reading ❤
