First book finished from my holiday read pile, dubbed Renee Ahdieh week!
I wanted to read both books but alas all the holiday activities were getting in the way of reading time 😮 Next week I have 2 arcs to read so can’t get to book 2 until those are finished ðŸ˜
Title: The Wrath and the Dawn Author: Renee Ahdieh
My rating: 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧
Magical…this book is magical!
I have my WordPress blog girls to thank for this gem of a read. I saw this book, saw their reviews and I knew this book was for me.
The detail, how it explains the world they live in and the people they are. I needed a few hours after finishing to gather my thoughts and that is so not like me!
I never really knew what to expect when I opened this book but it is filled with a wonderous story of a girl whose middle name is bravery and a boy perceived as a monster.
Khalid Ibn al-Rashid, The Caliph of Khorasan the most hated man in their world. But behind every monster is a story. And it’s his story to tell.
Gaaaah, I can’t even tell you how magical it was, I mean come on ‘She knew, as he knew, that they were lost. Lost forever. In this kiss. This kiss that would change everything.’
