#bookwatch Wrapping up May and what’s in store for June

My May has been taken over by Game Of Thrones.  I haven’t watched any of it before but at the end of April, I decided I wanted to catch up to where everyone else is and I am now halfway through season 5, to the detriment of my reading *insert sob*.

I did read 7 arcs and 1 book off my TBR though so not too shabby!

May read

Until Sage by Aurora Rose Reynolds 5/5 – love this series and was great to see Sage finally get his boom!

The List by Chantal Fernando 4/5 – a shy introverted girl with a ‘list’ of things to experience.

Shacking Up by Helena Hunting 5/5 – this author can do no wrong in my eyes. It all starts with a cough in the face!

When It’s Real by Erin Watt 5/5 – a sweet, fantastic NA read.

Tank by Laramie Briscoe 4/5 – a beautiful, emotional love story.

Ruckus by LJ Shen 5/5 – #feelingsoverload

Angels Halo: Atonement by Terri Anne Browning 3.5/5 – Love this series  but I wasn’t in love with this book.  I still want more from the Angel’s Halo MC though!

So that’s May wrapped up – – – – – on to June!

June will be a slow reading month for me as I have some work commitments that I won’t bore you with!

June reds

ARCs (I have signed  up for, will hopefully get!)

Notice by K Webster – releasing June 15th

Stay (Wags 2) by Elle Kennedy & Sarina Bowen – releasing June 20th

Tied by Carian Cole –  releasing June 26th

I am a die hard fan of these authors and anything they write, I will read!

I am chomping at the bit to read 2 from my TBR as well:

Predator by MA Horst – I was recently asked to join this authors review team and I want to read some of her past work to get a feel for her writing.  I have read 2 of her books already but a different genre to Predator.

Court of Mist & Fury by Sarah J Maas – I read book 1 after A LOT of people recommended them to me and I fell in love!  Then I immediately ran off to Amazon to buy books 2 and 3…and I am ready to devour them!

I’ll add my reviews when I’m done.

So how did May go for you?  What books did you read?  Add your links to comments so I can have a nose!

  1. A Court of Mist and Fury is the best book of the bunch! A LOT of shit goes down in A Court of Wings and Ruin but I still think the second book was the best one of them all. Look forward to your review!
Also WINTER IS COMING! in July! Can’t wait!!!!

Can’t wait to dive into book 2. It took me about 4 days to read book 1 as life got in the way (curse having to work!) but I think I will devour it!

      1. Yeah I read book 2 was definitely a binge read for me. A day in a half if I remember correctly. The last one was like a 3 day binge but, well, I won’t say anything until your review comes out lol
